02. Assisted Reproductive Technology
Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) law is the legal framework that governs the use of fertility treatments involving the handling of human eggs or embryos. This field of law addresses complex issues such as legal parentage, the rights of donors and gestational carriers, and the regulation of clinics and procedures like in vitro fertilization (IVF).
Our attorneys represent clients in the ethical negotiation of ART contracts such as Gestational Carrier Agreements, Egg Donor Agreements, Sperm Donor Agreements, and Embryo Donation Agreements. We also represent clients in parentage and second parent adoption actions, obtaining Pre-Birth Orders where available. With extensive experience in commercial law, out attorneys also provide counsel on agency agreements. Speer & Holliday, LLP is proud to represent traditional and same-sex couples in ART matters.
